EXSSA-CANADA Community Day
EXSSA – CANADA Community Day takes place on the second or third Saturday of June. This marks our 6th annual community day since 2018. This year, our community day will take place on Saturday, June 17, 2023.
We intend to impact our Canadian community and each year we choose two charity organizations to support our donations. The following are charity organizations located in Ontario and Quebec, we’ll be supporting with our donations:
- 519Pursuit a friendship based approach and an empathy driven outreach program, kindness and understanding are at the frontlines of their foundation work. 519Pursuit foundation is built on meeting community members facing poverty and homelessness right where they are. This kickstarts reintegrating vulnerable members back into a supportive, and inclusive community. Through friendship, they are able to support honest trial and error while walking alongside anyone wanting to do better for themselves and the community.
- The Centre for Immigrant Settlement and Integration (CISI) is a charitable organization which supports newly landed immigrants in their process of settlement, and supports all immigrant communities in their process of adaptation and integration into the Canadian society. CISI is currently working on a project that involves providing subsidized accommodation to newly landed immigrants in need. They’re in the process of equipping some CISI apartments for this purpose.
EXSSA-CANADA is happy to be supporting the 519Pursuit (ON) & Center for Immigrant Settlement and Integration (QC) with their cash donations while making an impact on the lives of people in Canada who need help.
